aww...i can only imagine a lonely figure singing with all his heart at late night's hour--it made me realize how fortunate i am always with a noisy little sister by my side=)
a late Happy New Year!! how's the trip to Grand Canyon and Vegas?? i've always pictured myself traveling around the world...enjoy a bachelor's freedom!! and phone us if u feel particularly "nostalgic"..I heard grandma's place's gonna have a phone connected soon!

It was the most interesting winter vacation.
I went to Las Vegas from Dec. 22 to Dec.24.
vegas的夜景很漂亮。远远的看，一片灯火的海洋，让人感觉像海市蜃楼一样（特别是在荒漠中开了两三个小时之后突然看到这般景象，绝对是让人终身难忘的经历）进去之后，在它的主街上有许多建得金碧辉煌的赌场，甚至照样建了巴黎的艾菲尔铁塔和凯旋门。几家特别有名的赌场前还有自己的show，bellagio的喷泉，treasure island前的火山喷发都很壮观。不过我们这次三天即去vegas又去大峡谷，没时间去看表演秀，而且没小赌一把，有点小遗憾，以后一定要再去一次。
The scenery in Grand Canyon is spectacular at first look but it feels a little monotonous thereafter. I walked on Skywalk and tried to jump, but can only jump 1~2 centimeters:-(.
Then I went to San Diego on Dec. 29 and Dec. 30. San Diego is very beautiful, far more beautiful than Los Angeles, and the climate is excellent. In fact all my friends began dreaming of living in San Diego after the visit(^_^). We visited Sea World, where there are shamu show, dolphin show and sea lion show.
I will post some pictures when my friends send them to me.
